Grandma headed back to NY yesterday, but before she left, we got Orazio a cake for his Half Birthday. He couldn't eat any of it, but he liked the colors and playing with the frosting.

New Toys
Cousin Tom and Kristen gave Orazio this gift months before Orazio made his appearance into this world. I finally put all the pieces together, and Orazio has a new favorite toy. It didn’t take him long to figure out that the seat rotates, he can jump, and the book makes noise when you turn the page. I’m sure that the next step is to figure out that the phone rings when you push the button.
Eating Peas
As you can see, Orazio is now eating peas. Up until this week, the only “solid” food he had was cereal. I learned one important fact this week – my two hands are nowhere near enough to hold Orazio, feed him green, mushy food, and make sure the cup didn’t end up on the floor or the food sprayed all over myself or the house. He finally graduated to the highchair. Here are some before and after pictures.

Little Giants Fan
So, Dad and Grandma got together and sent Orazio a Giants outfit before the big game. Unfortunately, various mail delays made sure the outfit was here in time for Monday Night Football. So, the pictures of Orazio's first football Giants outfit are soon to follow. Orazio enjoyed his first Super Bowl. He slept through the first and fourth quarter and started crying after the game. Ok, he was crying because my phone was ringing, but it sounds better the other way. The pictures of Orazio on the mat are from the night of the Super Bowl. He was happy and smiling during the whole game. The last picture is Orazio's new toy. He loved the one at daycare so much that I had to get him his own. His feet don't touch the ground quite yet, but the baby gate is in place for that day when he finally scoots himself around. Oh yeah, he finds power tools funny. That must come from Grandpa Ralph.
